Join us for morning worship as we continue our series on Profiling God. We are looking this summer at the various attributes of God and attempting to paint an accurate picture of who this God really is (see Pastor's Notes). In our evening worship services, we are studying the book of Joshua. Regular worship services begin at 9:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Back to Church Sunday
Did you know that only 20% of the 76 million Americans who have been to church attend regularly? On Sunday, September 12, Brookfield CRC will be taking part in the national Back to Church Sunday. On this day, over 3,000 churches across the country will be inviting over 1 million of their family, friends and neighbors to experience God’s love firsthand. Invitation cards can be found in your mailboxes. Please prayerfully consider who you would like to invite to this special service and help bring people back to church.

New Facilities Manager
The BCRC Council is pleased to announce that the church has hired Dennis Paepke to be the new Facilities Manager. Dennis will divide his time between our church and Brookfield Christian School. We believe that Dennis will be an excellent addition to our staff, and we wish him God’s blessing as he begins his new role.

Serve a Sienna House Meal
Has God given you a passion to cook for others? Sign-up is taking place now to provide meals for Siena House, a shelter for the homeless and abused women and children. Please see the bulletin board near the coffee kitchen for more details, and sign up by Sunday, September 12 so a new schedule can be completed.

Mothers of Pre-Schoolers
Are you a mother of children ages newborn through kindergarten? We would love for you to join us at MOPS! MOPS is an outreach ministry serving women in the church and surrounding community, and meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday morning (9:15–11:00 a.m.) of each month from September 14 through May 24. The primary focus is fellowship, support, and encouragement among mothers of small children. On The Edge Kickoff
One the Edge (high school youth group) will kick off its 2010-11 year on Sunday, September 12 with their annual event at Harrington Beach.
