Pastor Peter Verhulst

Lead Pastor

Pastor Peter Verhulst graduated with a B.A. in English from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan ('86), and with a Master of Divinity degree from Calvin Theological Seminary ('91). Peter served as Director of Youth Ministries at Mayfair Christian Reformed Church in Grand Rapids from 1987-1991, and as Pastor from 1991-1998. Both he and his wife, Jackie, originate from Sheboygan, Wisconsin. The Verhulsts have four adult children. Peter has been pastor at Brookfield Christian Reformed Church since June 1998.

Pastor Jason Dahlman

Pastor

Pastor Jason Dahlman married his wife Marco in 2000 and they have 4 children: Lois and Clara are in university; Elliott and Sylvia are in high school. Jason was the pastor of a church plant on the southside of Milwaukee from 2008-2016. In 2016, Pastor Jason began the process of transferring his ordination into the Christian Reformed Church and took a call to Ebenezer CRC in Leduc, Alberta. After serving Ebenezer for 8 years, Jason accepted a call to serve as a pastor at Brookfield CRC beginning in July 2025.

Pastor Jason holds an MDiv and a Ph.D. in historical theology and has served as a history professor at King's University (Edmonton) and Trinity International University (Chicago). He loves playing and watching sports, reading, playing music, roasting his own coffee, and spending time with his family. Pastor Jason is praying for, and expecting, a revival in the Milwaukee area in the coming years.

Pastor Young-Kwang Kim

Pastor

Associate Pastor Young-Kwang Kim graduated from Calvin Theological Seminary with M.Div and Th.M (2019 and 2020, respectively) and has been serving God and his people at Brookfield Christian Reformed Church since 2021.

Pastor Mclowlly Soré

Emerging Church Pastor

Pastor Mclowlly Soré is an ordained minister in the Christian Reformed Church and holds a Doctorate in Ministry from CELA University in Florida. With more than three decades of pastoral service and church planting experience, he is committed to the faithful proclamation of the gospel, the formation of discípulos, and the strengthening of the church through sound doctrine.

He serves as the lead pastor of Vive Church Milwaukee, a congregation focused on biblical teaching, discipleship, and community Hispanic outreach. Pastor Soré is the husband of Jennypher and the father of three daughters.

Jeff Baade

Maintenance Coordinator

Jeff Baade is a retired building supplies salesman and cabinet/ countertop fabricator.  He now works part time as maintenance and facilities person at BCRC.

Marianne Giebel

Administrative Assistant

Marianne performs a variety of administrative and clerical work that supports the operation of BCRC ministries, Council, and staff. She maintains the church directory, church master and ministry calendars, and membership statistics. She also communicates with the congregation through weekly bulletins, bi-weekly newsletters, and e-mails as needed.

Angelina Karl

Janitor

After raising five children, Angelina began cleaning the facilities of the church in 2017. Since then, she has also started her own business cleaning residences.

Jon Peik

Worship Coordinator

Jon recruits, trains, and organizes instrumentalists and vocalists into worship teams to lead congregational singing. He maintains the sound system and organizes the sound team to support the congregation in worship. He also meets with the worship planners to coordinate worship at BCRC.

Wally Smith

Business Manager

Wally oversees and organizes the business operations of the church. He stewards the physical, financial and personnel resources of the church and enables the ministries of the church to function effectively.
